Our process

Our process is designed to help you get on course to achieving your goals, and to remain on course as life unfolds. To build a strategy that will stand the test of time, in spite of a world filled with uncertainties, it must be flexible. As we construct your strategy, we think broadly about the financial risks you face today, or may face in the future.

I. Gather Important Information- Your comprehensive financial data allows us to examine your financial wellness, taking into consideration your short-term and long-term goals and expenses. Finding the right solution for your personal and business needs requires specialized attention to the circumstances of your unique situation.

II. Establish Goals/ Objectives - We ask the right questions to get a clear understanding of your financial goals and objectives before we recommend any products or services. A financial strategy is meant to protect you and your family from a variety of risks. Think carefully about who depends on you today and who might in the future.

III. Evaluate Current Situation - We analyze your financial situation and perform our proprietary scenario testing. We review your tax returns, expenses/ cash flow, assets, liabilities, insurance policies, employment benefits, and legal documents. We collaborate closely with your other advisors, including attorneys and accountants, to ensure a truly comprehensive approach.

IV. Periodic Progress Review - After setting a meeting around your schedule, we present your financial strategy which addresses cash flow, retirement, education, estate flow, asset allocation recommendations, life insurance gap analysis, and adequate disability income insurance.

V. Implementation - Once you're satisfied with your recommendations, we work with you and your other advisors to implement your strategies and secure the products and services to help ensure your financial freedom. Just as you’ll want to align yourself with a strong, reputable financial professional, we do the same with regard to the financial product providers we use. To help ensure that your financial product providers will be there when you (or your loved ones) need them, we work with strong, stable companies that have high marks from independent ratings agencies such as A. M. Best, Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s, and Fitch.  The client is free to implement the recommendations with whomever he/she chooses.

VI. Track Your Ongoing Progress - The best financial strategies should be revisited and updated regularly- generally once a year. Common life events – such as marriage, having children, changing jobs, or even moving – can affect your existing approach. So, too, can just having another birthday – particularly if it means you’ve reached a financial milestone, such as the year you can begin collecting Social Security, receiving Medicare benefits, or taking distributions from your retirement accounts. We review your strategy with you to help ensure that it remains aligned with your objectives and appropriate for your circumstances.  Periodic reviews or updates require a new agreement and may be subject to additional fees.
